An exhibition capturing the beauty and diversity of native flora to encourage a keener appreciation of the importance of the Gardens Living Collection.
Leigh Murray is a Canberra based artist working in Pastel, Pencil, Coloured Pencil and Scratchboard. Her work ranges from Wildlife to Still Life but there is always a connection to nature from where her inspiration is drawn.
Leigh has been the recipient of numerous awards at ASOC (Artists Society of Canberra) and QAS (Queanbeyan Art Society) including many ‘Firsts’ in Pastel and two ‘Best in Show.’ At her first solo exhibition, 17 works across her range were sold.
Leigh takes commissions and has work hanging in Australia, Africa, India, Germany and the United Kingdom.
Open daily from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm at the Visitor Centre Gallery.
