Overview

The Hall Heritage Centre are again presenting a Brass Band Concert “Brass on the Grass”.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the incorporation of the spirit of brass in Canberra. It is made up of three brass bands - Canberra Brass, Victoria Street Brass and Newbery Brass. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the band's establishment.

Come along and celebrate this amazing birthday at the Hall Heritage Centre during their famous Brass on the Grass event. The birthday will be celebrated with the band marching up Victoria Street, from the Hall Post Office to the grounds playing "Village March" which was written for Hall followed by the brass band concert on the grounds of Hall Heritage Centre.

Come along and support the band, The Hall Heritage Centre and sponsors.

Entry to the concert is free and will feature the music as well as food options for purchase, but many will opt to pack a picnic to enjoy with family and friends on the grass. The nationally significant Hall Heritage Centre will also be open.
