Overview

The National Gallery invites you on a creative journey to enhance wellbeing and mental health. Each session is facilitated by Gallery staff with the support of a qualified health professional.

This monthly initiative combines discussion, artmaking and a simple word exercise with a poetic outcome in response to three works of art on display. Participants form into smaller groups to enable conversation and collaboration.

Please contact the National Gallery of Australia via email or phone if you require any further information or assistance. You may also find the getting here page helpful on their website.

Free, bookings are essential.

Art for Wellbeing is made possible by the National Gallery’s Access Partner the Lansdowne Foundation.
