Overview

Longing and Belonging is a curated exhibition bringing together ten of Canberra's most highly regarded female artists in a shared investigation of migrant experiences.

Showing in Gallery 2 at Tuggeranong Arts Centre, the exhibition features significant works by: Sarit Cohen, Valerie Kirk, Maiju Altpere, Keiko Amenomori-Schmeisser, Mariana del Castillo, Kirandeep Grewal, Pinal Maniar, Luna Ryan, Monique Van Nieuwland and Savanhdary Vongpoothorn.

Working in a variety of media, this outstanding line-up of award-winning artists, recall their cultural origin, contemplate their transition from one place to another and explore their new surroundings.

The exhibition is free, all are welcome.
