Hughes Repair Cafe

Overview

Come join the Hughes Community Centre for a fun and hands-on event! Bring in your broken items and learn how to fix them with the help of their skilled volunteers. Whether it's a wonky toaster or a wobbly chair, it can be fixed at the cafe. Not only will money be saved by fixing things instead of replacing them, but waste will also be reduced.

For Plant information, come seek advice from Helen's Garden Mentoring!

Helen has been a Garden Mentor and Horticulturist in the Canberra garden scene for many years now and would love to share her practical knowledge, hints and tips with you. Come along and set Helen the challenge!
What plant is this?
What should it be planted?
What is wrong with my plant?
Why isn't the garden thriving?
Come along, don't be shy, bring detailed photos or bagged plant material and have a chat with Helen.
