Overview

The tenth Craft + Design Canberra Festival presents an exciting program of exhibitions and activations responding to the Festival theme of Regenerate. The Festival celebrates Canberra as a creative capital and a global city of design.

Connecting Canberra's community with over 500 artists, craftspeople, designers and architects, the 2024 Festival advocates for design thinking, collaboration and making by hand to generate innovation and solve problems, providing hope for the future.

The 2024 Craft + Design Canberra Festival is run by Craft + Design Canberra. They are a not-for-profit organisation, proud to be one the longest-running visual arts membership organisations in Australia at 52 years old.

Craft + Design Canberra is recognised as a leading centre in contemporary Australian craft and design, with a vision to embed contemporary craft, making and design at the centre of everyday life in Australia’s Capital, a global city of design.

They run a gallery that hosts a thriving program of contemporary craft and design exhibitions year-round, a shop that sells the best in locally made handcrafted objects, and run the biennial Craft + Design Canberra Festival, connecting artists with the community.
