Carols in the Park
Overview
Carols in the Park is hosted by Crossroads Christian Church, which has been part of the Canberra community for 28 years and has approximately 1,000 members.
The event has been running in North Canberra for 20 years and aims to help the local community celebrate Christmas joy. Over the years, Carols in the Park has been growing, with around 1,000 people in attendance last year, mostly young families with kids.
Currently, the event includes a family carnival with a jumping castle, face painting, balloon animals, and more. Plus market stalls, food trucks, and, of course, live Christmas carols.

- Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia)
- Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)
- Caters for people who use a wheelchair.
