Drawing in the Landscape Workshop

Overview

Join local artist Sarah Murray for a two hour workshop exploring drawing in the landscape using charcoal, chalk pastel or oil pastel. The workshop invites people of all ages and abilities to explore drawing in the landscape. Participants will develop skills of observational drawing, perspective, value and tone and use of colour.

Starting in the studio, participants will complete drawing exercises to build skills and then venture out into the beautiful local landscape in Whitlam to enjoy the meditative process of drawing outdoors. Participants are welcome to use the mediums of charcoal, chalk pastel and oil pastel. All materials provided.
