Join an artist talk with Sophie Baker to learn more about her exhibition Circumnavigating ‘Bush Capital’ from the (bike) saddle. Impressions of the bush painted open air, from the saddle, so to speak, at federation, wrote Australia’s identity as bush-cherishing into the curriculum, but Sophie asks ‘do we really cherish the bush?’ and on ‘what happens if I ride forth brandishing a paintbrush, and paint the Bush Capital, today?'
