AC/DC Night Ride Bike Party

Overview

Come roll outside to celebrate Acca Dacca returning to Australia for live shows.

Riders get to choose songs for the PartyBox speaker on the party leader's cargo bike.

All riders must bring their own lights and have a plan for any flat tyres or other mechanical faults.

Also, wear layers as it gets cold at Lake Burley Griffin.

The ride is a loop, starting at the Street Theatre to Lake Burley Griffin's central basin, heading clockwise. Stops include the Jetty wharf on the southside and the majestic Ouroboros sculpture by Lindy Lee at the National Gallery, before returning to the Street Theatre.

All people on all cycles and scooters are welcome on bike parties. The route is about 7 kilometres, and there are toilets at multiple locations along the way.

This is a mostly flat ride, except for the inclines over Parkes Way, and the approaches to the Commonwealth Ave and Kings Ave Bridges.
