Overview

From the limestone plains to the bush capital, the hills of the Arboretum have seen it all. Join this guided walk, taking in the stunning views of Canberra. Your friendly guide will uncover fascinating tales of past and present about the changing landscape of the National Capital, bringing to light stories of the people behind the transformation.

Recommended for ages 12 and over, this 90 minute walk covers uneven terrain through the forests of the Arboretum. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended, and participants need to bring a water bottle, wear sturdy shoes and wear weather-appropriate clothing.

This event is being run in collaboration with the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival.
