Chinese arts show

Overview

U.N. selected Chinese Language Day pays tribute to Cangjie, a legendary figure who was Yellow Emperor and invented Chinese characters about 5000 years ago.

The Federation of Chinese Association of ACT (FCAACT) have organised an event to mark the occasion, where Chinese Calligraphy, painting and other traditional culture arts will be put on show, as well as local Chinese language school students' arts performance. The local Chinese language school's teacher will share their teaching experience.

The event is to start at 1pm and finish at around 5pm. Stalls for the Chinese calligraphy and painting will start at 1pm, and a short forum will start at 3pm, followed by some art performances.

The event will be entry-free. Everyone who is interested in Chinese culture and language is welcome.
