Overview

Led by Ronnie Jordan, a Pitta Pitta Wangkamahdla woman, this special NAIDOC Week workshop is something the whole family can enjoy. You'll get to weave with natural fibres including wool, raffia and straw that will be provided for you.

Ronnie is a weaver, painter, and cultural facilitator. At the workshop she will share her ancient culture, hunting stories and community through her cultural practice.

This workshop is suitable for ages 3 years and above.

Venue: Queen's Terrace Gallery, Australian Parliament House

  • Caters for people with high support needs who travel with a support person.
