Get creative these school holidays, making wacky sock puppets! Craft your own colourful puppet friends using a variety of fun, textured materials. Discover the world of hand and glove puppets while decorating your sock, and experience the magic of puppetry with beloved puppeteer Marianne Mettes. Suitable for children aged 5–12 years. Spaces are limited; bookings are recommended.
Hurry Upcycling
Dive into a fun-fuelled workshop exploring sustainable design with creative designers from the Alastair Swayn Foundation. Learn about Norman Hetherington's approach to sustainability in the Mr Squiggle and Friends exhibition, then bring your own wild and whimsical creations to life using a range of recycled materials. Suitable for children aged 8-12 years. Spaces are limited, bookings are essential.
ReUse. ReThink. ReMake
Join designers from the Alastair Swayn Foundation for an engaging introduction into design, sustainability and creative problem solving. Drawing inspiration from the Mr Squiggle and Friends exhibition, participants will transform recycled materials into innovative, functional or fantastical creations. Suitable for children aged 12–17 years. Spaces are limited, bookings are essential.
