Overview

The University of Canberra's Open Day Fest 2025 is set to be a vibrant, all-ages celebration of learning, community, and entertainment at the Bruce campus.

This free event blends a traditional university open day with a full-scale festival. Expect hands-on faculty showcases, sporting activities with UC Capitals, Brumbies, and Canberra United, and interactive hubs like the Mega Lab, Politics & Government Hub, and UCFM Radio Station.

Families will love the Kids Zone with jumping castles, face painting, balloon artists, and reptiles, while adults can relax at the UCX Bar or explore the Adult Learning Hub right next door. There's also Drag Story Time, Slam! Pro Wrestling, and the UC Fest Quest scavenger hunt.

Fuel up with free blue doughnuts, food carts, and a classic sausage sizzle.

The live music lineup is a major drawcard and runs all day, concluding with ARIA-nominated headliner, Jack River. The lineup also features the talents of Phurpax (RnB/synth-pop), Apricot Ink (alt-pop duo) and Jett Blyton (indie-pop)."

Another highlight is the Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, which will be led by Yukkumbruk Women's Dreaming.

Entry is free, but registration is required. Visit the website now for the full schedule.
