A place and time

Overview
'A place and time' looks through multiple perspectives at personal narratives, culture, identity and implications of living here and now.
Each artist's practice interrogates how their own experience fits within historical contexts, possible futures and the present time, whether through materiality, aesthetics, narrative, bodily relationships, structures and the human and non-human systems everyone exists in.
Transformation of objects, materials or relationships are rooted in ideas of place, growth and connection. Deploying notions of construction/ deconstruction, the found object and source materials, material transformations, time and temporality.
Curated by Louis Grant for Belco Arts.
