Overview

After a wonderfully successful event in 2023 and 2024, Gungahlin Arts and Wildbark are delighted to present the National Threatened Species Day Open Photographic Exhibition again in 2025. This year's exhibition features over 184 photographs, including some of Australia's most vulnerable mammals, birds, reptiles and plants.

The photographers have spent countless hours waiting to capture the perfect shot, and you're invited to get up close and personal and deepen your appreciation of the diversity of the natural world through this collection of stunning images.

You are also encouraged to cast your vote in the People's Choice Award as you explore the exhibition. The winning artist will receive an AUD500 cash prize courtesy of Wildbark.
