Overview
Visitors to the National Zoo and Aquarium can enjoy a school holiday filled with discovery and adventure. The program features free activities such as puppet shows, storytelling, and special lion cub keeper talks. Guests will also have the chance to celebrate Nyra, the zoo's newest lion cub, as she takes part in her very first school holiday season.
With a theme of animal mysteries, the experience blends science and nature through interactive, educational, and entertaining programming that focuses on the mysteries of the animal kingdom. The excitement builds towards the main event weekend, which includes live music, games, and surprising moments for all ages. Every activity is included in general admission and is free for members, creating a memorable day out for the whole family. No bookings required.
Families won't want to miss a stop at AdventureLand, the Zoo's playground that is packed with action for little explorers. When it's time to refuel, the Rhino Bistro will be serving up a range of delicious holiday food specials and refreshing drinks to keep everyone energised throughout the day.
