Get ready for a burst of sunshine! Canberra's own community samba drumming band, Raio de Sol, is bringing their infectious Brazilian rhythms to Dairy Road.

Raio de Sol—which means "sunbeam" in Portuguese—is a diverse group of passionate drummers from all walks of life. From their humble beginnings with a drum kit from the tip, they've grown into a vibrant spectacle that has performed everywhere from the Sydney Mardi Gras to Floriade and the National Folk Festival.

Play Day is a free family-friendly afternoon at Dairy Road's LESS gardens. Families are invited to come and sit on the grass, enjoy the precinct's great vibes and businesses (fancy a beer from Capital Brewery, Ice Cream from Jasper and Myrtle?) while the children play with building props and in the LESS water features. So bring some spare clothes!
