Capoeira & West African Drumming Workshops

Overview

They are excited to welcome visiting teachers from Capoeira Aruanda Sydney and Newcastle for a special afternoon of workshops.

These 45-minute sessions are for anyone curious about movement, martial arts, or music who wants to deepen their practice, explore new ideas, and learn in a relaxed and inclusive environment.

Beginners are welcome, as are children, provided they are accompanied by a participating adult or carer.

If you are experiencing financial hardship or are unable to cover the registration fee, please reach out via email.

If you would like to register for the West African drumming workshop and have your own djembe, please bring it along. For everyone else, they will provide drums.

If you would like to register for the Capoeira workshops, please wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in, and bring a water bottle.
