Playing with (Tea) Light Kilnforming workshop at Canberra Glassworks

Overview

As part of the Enlighten Festival 2026, design and make a slumped glass tealight candle holder, exploring how colour, transparency and form affect the way light passes through glass. Finished works will be fired in the kiln and ready for collection later.

At 12.00pm and 2.00pm, audiences of all ages are invited to take part in a kilnforming workshop inspired by the theme of light. Participants will design and make a slumped glass tealight candle holder, exploring how colour, transparency and form affect the way light passes through glass.
