Our Favourite Things - Ginninderra Wind Orchestra
Overview
Enjoy an uplifting afternoon of live music with the Ginninderra Wind Orchestra at Our Favourite Things, a free community concert presented as part of the UPSTAGEING Canberra Festival.
Conducted by Debbie Masling OAM and Ben Green, the 80-member Canberra concert band will perform a program of well-loved classics and familiar melodies. Audiences can look forward to music by The Beatles, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and jazz favourites such as In the Mood and Blue Moon.
Presented in a relaxed and welcoming setting at the Lyneham Performing Arts Centre, the concert celebrates creativity and artistic expression among older Canberrans as part of the UPSTAGEING Festival.
While the program is particularly suited to seniors, the concert is open to everyone and families are warmly welcome.
