Overview

This event is presented by the Wonderful World Festival.

Did you know you can make bagpipes out of a rubber kitchen glove? Have you ever seen anyone play an instrument made from a feather duster, a watering can, a camping stool or a carrot?

Linsey Pollak makes music by live-looping self-invented instruments to create layers of music which will have audiences either spellbound or dancing in their seats. He demystifies the process of musical instrument design and music itself, but at the same time creates a soundtrack that is both mind-blowing and curiously beautiful. 'Still Searching for That Sound' takes us on a journey with Linsey as his life as an instrument inventor and maker unfolds from one random moment to another.

Recommended for ages 6-112.
