School holiday activity: Creative journaling for beginners

Overview

Join the National Library of Australis's Education team for an exploration of creative journaling!

In this session, look at some simple techniques and ideas to get you started and help develop an approach that suits you. This practice blends writing with artistic elements like sketching, collage, and painting to foster mindfulness, self-expression and creativity to document daily experiences.

All materials will be supplied, including a small starter notebook to keep.

This activity is suitable for young people 10 to 16 years of age.

Light refreshments including fresh fruit, healthy snacks and water will be provided. Please notify the Library's Education team of any allergies or special dietary requirements.
