Overview

Join a gentle Autumn adventure as you explore the hidden life of the National Arboretum's old growth Himalayan Cedar forest. Designed for children aged 4-8, the Little Ecologists Forest Walk introduces young learners to the tiny creatures, birds and seasonal changes that make the forest come alive.

Children will peek into the world of spiders, insects and other mini‑beasts, discover natural treasures on the forest floor, and enjoy hands‑on craft to finish the session. Guided by experienced educators, this program encourages curiosity, respectful interactions, careful observation, and a deeper connection with the natural environment – all while keeping little explorers safe, active and engaged.

The Himalayan Cedar forest is accessible via a Grade 1 sloped, sealed path through the forest. Please get in touch to discuss how this program can be adapted to your needs.
