Carte Postale en Pastel | Small Paintings by Melissa Hammond | Solo Exhibition

Overview
Gallery of Small Things (GOST) is hosting its 3rd show for 2026 with new artworks from Melissa Hammond, an emerging artist based in Canberra, Australia.
Anne Masters, Director of GOST, has curated a bespoke series of 15 small oil pastel paintings which fit perfectly in Australia's smallest gallery.
The exhibition invites the viewer to be drawn into a small space and enjoy the intimacy of these creamy, buttery paintings which are postcard-sized. They are framed and ready to hang.
Think French landscapes of fields of sunflowers and snowy horizons, as well as moments which Melissa has captured in Paris, Chaumont, Troyes and Lyon. It's a lovely show not to miss!
The exhibition is open to the public during gallery hours. Please visit the gallery's website for current opening days and times.
A catalogue will be released online via the exhibitions page of the gallery's website (remember to hit refresh for the button to appear).
