International Chinese Language Day

Overview
International Chinese Language Day was established by the United Nations in 2010 to promote Chinese as one of its six official languages, celebrating cultural diversity and multiculturalism.
The Federation of Chinese Community of Canberra Inc and FCCCI Chinese School are hosting an event in Canberra to promote Chinese language learning and cultural exchange.
The event will feature calligraphy and Chinese painting displays with hands-on practice, Chinese teaching experience sharing, announcement of student Chinese essay competition results, afternoon tea, and a cultural art performance.
This free event is open to everyone and will be held at Canberra High School in Macquarie.
