Cloud Ice 9 emerge from the strange, slow-burn creative fallout of Naarm's long lockdowns. Formed in the barns and attic sharehouses where hours of tinkering on toy keyboards evolved into a fully-fledged "hive mind." The result is one of the most adventurous and bewildering sounds in the post-COVID Antipodes. Difficult to pin down and even harder to predict, Cloud Ice 9 twist familiar genres into something uncanny. Fragments of post-punk, experimental pop, and off-kilter grooves are warped by surreal storytelling, robot voices, and an ever-expanding palette of oddball instrumentation.

Olivia's World return to Canberra with their signature style of angular post-punk and dolewave-pop. Going from strength to strength solidifying themselves in the Australian underground music scene.

edda is a new Canberra band led by Joel Neville (Optic Nerve, Lower Body, Oxen, Lapse). The band is a family - made up of spouses, siblings, siblings-in-law, childhood friends, and ancient Icelandic origins.
