Canberra Made Series - Painting your way with Jenny Adams from Popcorn Art - Advanced Workshop One

Overview
Develop and refine your painting practice in this immersive four‑hour advanced workshop with Canberra‑based, self‑taught artist Jenny Adams. Designed for participants with some prior painting experience, this class offers the opportunity to work on deepening your understanding of composition, colour and personal expression.
Jenny has been painting for over twenty years and has developed a distinctive style shaped by observation, experimentation and lived experience. Inspired by the natural world and its vital role in mental wellbeing, her work is characterised by strong shapes, vibrant colour palettes and decorative elements.
Participants will have time to plan, layer and resolve a more complex artwork. Jenny will provide guidance and individual feedback throughout the session, with the expectation that attendees have a working knowledge of basic painting techniques, materials and compositional principles.
This workshop is ideal for emerging and experienced painters looking to challenge themselves, expand their visual language and gain insight into Jenny's intuitive, self‑taught approach to painting.
All materials are provided. Participants will take home a completed artwork.
