Overview

Ngurambang-dhi is a collection by First Nations fashion label Corella & Crow, founded by designers Rechelle Turner and Megan Daley. The works presented in this exhibition were originally created for the 2025 runway of Country to Couture and are shared here at Belco Arts as part of an ongoing conversation between fashion, Country and community.

The word Ngurambang speaks to Country, place and belonging. The addition of -dhi holds the sense of being with, of relating and moving in connection. Together, Ngurambang-dhi reflects the idea of being with Country and carrying those relationships through their creative practice.

This collection brings together slow fashion processes, upcycled textiles and hand-worked surfaces that honour the stories and materials that shape each garment. Through dyeing, mark-making, layering and reconstruction, the works speak to cycles of renewal and care for the environments that sustain you. Each piece holds traces of time, labour and relationship.
