Yarralumla Embassy District tour

Overview
Presented in conjunction with Pedal Power ACT, the ACT's cycling organisation.
No other city in Australia has embassies. See them, slowly, on this stop-start guided tour of the diplomatic missions in Yarralumla. It starts at the Beijing Gardens (Lotus Bay), beside Lake Burley Griffin, and finishes at the shops at Yarralumla.
Note: this 10 kilometre route features three steep, short hills. Feel free to push if required.
Guests will hear some of the stories and architecture behind embassies and high commissions including the People's Republic of China, Finland, India, South Africa, and more.
See art and even a little street library replica of the Irish embassy.
Open to all ages, faiths, languages, and identities.
Bring water, bike locks, sunscreen, sunglasses, smiles, and money for the cafe at Yarralumla. There are toilets at the start and finish.
Note - this is a leisurely weekend ride on mostly quiet streets. It's not a race; nor is it for fitness. Wear whatever is comfortable.
