Winter Kite Festival

Overview
A fun, kid-friendly, afternoon of kite crafting, kite flying and a sausage sizzle. There will be kites for purchase, craft tables for kite decorating, a playground and food and beverages.
This event is a fundraiser for the Burin Kite Festival, which has been held almost yearly in the West Bank village of Burin since 2008. The Canberra Winter Kite Festival brings the community together in a joyful celebration of solidarity.
This event is co-hosted by PAGC Printing Fund and Amnesty International.
Walk-ins and RSVPs are welcome! See you there!
Kite safety rules: Kite flying is intended primarily for children. You are welcome to bring your own kites, but please note that kites must not exceed 1.5 metres in their largest dimension and must not be designed for traction or lifting.
