In this 2-day course, participants will make a ceramic soap dish using hand building techniques with Penelope Holloway. Learn how to make a slip, join clay, build slabs and reinforce clay structures into forms. In the first session, Penelope will guide you through methods of building, shaping, and decorating. In the second session, you will learn about finishing and glazing your work. Take home your own hand built and glazed soap-dish!
