Warm Trees - Winter in the Woods

Overview
This year, step into Winter in the Woods at the National Arboretum Canberra - a magical seasonal escape where nature warms the soul, even on the coldest days.
See the forests come alive with colour with 'Warm Trees'. The popular annual installation adds vibrancy to winter and is made possible by the dedication of hundreds of volunteers who have knitted and crocheted colourful scarves and created themed decorations. Over 17 forests are featured this year and include Dairy Farmers Hill and even teeny tiny scarves in the National Bonsai and Penjing Collection of Australia.
This winter, there is so much to enjoy.... rug up as the Arboretum comes alive with firelight, food and forest adventure. Wander through crisp landscapes, join a guided Warm Tree guided walk, enjoy marshmallows, mulled wine, toasty treats and evenings beneath star-filled skies, art and craft and bus tours.
Check the website for what's on during 'Winter in the Woods' and plan your own winter itinerary.
Rug up and explore the Warm Tree forests and brighten your winter.
Warm Trees is brought to you by the Friends of the National Arboretum Canberra.
