Mintventures: Calling all budding designers!
Overview
A lot of work goes into designing a coin. Stuart Devlin's iconic animal designs were released on Australia's new decimal coins.
What would children name Australia's currency? What shape, metal and design would they choose? Join a celebration of Australia's circulating coins, looking at the stories behind these coins and then designing their own.
All children must be accompanied by an adult, and bookings are essential. Each ticket is for one child and includes the accompanying adult. This program is aimed at children aged 7 to 12 years.
