The Stitch Up: Weaving Lab Workshops

Overview
Kickstart your tapestry practice alongside weavers from the renowned Australian Tapestry Workshop in this suite of three-hour, hands-on workshops exclusive to the National Gallery of Australia.
Led by weavers from the Australian Tapestry Workshop, work with colour and texture and learn simple frame weaving, joins and finishing techniques.
These workshops offer a licence to experiment using a mix of new, upcycled and post-production materials. Leave with your own woven piece and the foundations to keep weaving your way through life.
Weaving Lab Workshops welcome all experience levels but are best suited to novice weavers learning fundamental skills.
No assumed knowledge or prior preparation is required. Limited capacity. Book now or you'll be weft behind!
The Stitch Up is presented in partnership with the Australian Tapestry Workshop.
