Overview

"Bonegilla-The migrant's journey" is a multi media show that uses filmed interviews of post war migrants from various European countries and also their photos, home movies and documents. The musical soundtrack is played by a piano and violin live on stage including immersive sound design. The stage is also decorated with migrant's own possessions that they brought over on the ship, or used during their early life here in Australia and a sea of LED candles set the emotional mood of the performance.

You'll laugh. You'll cry. But most of all you'll be truly inspired by these gutsy pioneers who left everything behind and travelled to a country they knew nothing about.
