Christmas Day at Woden Town parkrun

Overview

It's Christmas! Come on down to Woden Town for this inaugural Christmas Day event. A free, weekly, timed five-kilometre event at Woden Town Park. Run, jog, walk or volunteer – everyone is welcome.

Dress up in your best Christmas gear - think reindeer antlers, Santa hats and ugly Christmas sweaters - or just come as you are.

As many people know, parkrun events operate on Saturday every week of the year. Why is this one different? Because each parkrun is also permitted to operate on two special days - in Australia, those days are Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

This event is particularly special because, as the newest parkrun in Canberra, it's the very first time that the Woden Town parkrun will run on Christmas Day.
