Workshop: Wattle in Watercolour with Cheryl Hodges

Overview

Celebrate Wattle Day and artist Dawn Calthorpe's love of Australia's floral emblem in this special watercolour workshop at Calthorpes House.

Guided by artist Cheryl Hodges, participants will create a small painting of Golden Wattle while learning a range of watercolour techniques, including washes, dry brushwork for fine details, and simple ways to correct mistakes. No experience is necessary, and all materials are provided.

The workshop will be held outdoors in the beautiful heritage garden, so please bring a hat and water bottle. Calthorpes House is located in Red Hill and offers accessible parking and limited onsite parking, with additional parking available in nearby streets.
