Overview

Spread your wings this spring! Discover the wonderful world of birds.

The Arboretum is home to a wide variety of birds, and spring is the perfect time to observe their habitats and behaviours. Join one of the Arboretum educators on a guided birdwatching walk to identify and observe native bird species while fostering a love and appreciation for Canberra's unique birdlife.

Bring your own binoculars, or borrow some of theirs.

Wear sensible shoes, weather-appropriate clothing and a hat.

This walk follows uneven garden and forest trails. To learn how we can adapt this program to support your needs, please get in touch.
