Strings in Spring – Beautiful Chamber Music for Cello, Violin, Harp and Piano

Overview

Welcome to this second of three concerts in the series. It showcases the artistry of outstanding guest musicians: Alice Giles (Harp), Arnan Wiesel (piano) and Chris Latham (Violin).

The latter two joint to play Mendelssohn's D Minor Piano Trio - a big treasure to end the concert. The same composer I've borrowed to open the program - two little pieces for piano and cello - and to usher in the celebrated meditation, Spiegel im Spiegel, played by Chris and Alice. Additionally they together play a celebrated gem of Ravel's.

There are amazing solos for harp, too.
