Overview

Discover the fascinating stories and hidden corners of Lanyon Homestead on this exclusive after-hours tour led by renowned storyteller Tim the Yowie Man.

Under Tim's expert guidance, explore areas of the property rarely accessible to the public and uncover the remarkable history of the people who lived and worked here over the past 150 years. Along the way, you'll visit a secluded convict-built stone hut on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, the iconic Lanyon windmill, and heritage-listed scar trees, while enjoying Tim's trademark humour and gift for bringing local history to life.

The evening concludes with a candlelit supper in the historic barracks building, featuring traditional-style pumpkin soup served with fresh bread.

Bookings essential. Places are strictly limited.
